Background: Hospital standards are one of the valuest concepture items in an organization and hospital management. The research purpose was determination of luchs of hospital evaluation current way through the compression with ISO quality management standards and suggestion of a model to hospital standard development based on aquired findings.Materials & Methods: This research is a descriptive – comparative study that was been doing on hospital standards, «B Hospital evaluation handout» in comparission with «1994-29000 ISO principles». In first stage, theorrical analysis and comparission of handout items with ISO necessities was done, then 8 stage model of hospital standards development was provided through the use of brain storming method to lists determination, multiple vote taking method, nominal team technic for chosing, AHP hierarchy analysis process methods and selection matrix for priority ullocation and benchmarking to choices. The provided model was authenticated with using delph: like method.Results: Totally, 853 question were evaluated about conforming with ISO principles in «B Handout» and ISO items were brought 1026 ounces in front of 853 items of handout. In this adaptation «quality internal ausits», «process control» and «inspection and test»items from 1994-9000 ISO standards were repeated 339, 302 and 158 once, orderlly that in total, they consist of 77.8% of writted items and other 17 items were consisted only 22.2% of the whole of ISO items repeating ounces that 7 items from these were never in «B hand out» at all and also 5 other items were less than 7 evidence (from 1010 questions).Conclusion: Writing method of evaluation items in «B hand out» has significant difference with what is done in ISO audit. Research findings showed that in spite of leaping that «B hand out» developing had in national. There are serious lacks in hospital complete evaluation so that consider a hospitals system, means and content because of lack of enough experiment in standard development based on ISO principles.

Introduction: considering the information threats and the need to procedures for develop and improve security and confidentiality, international standard organization (ISO) established information security standard ISO/IEC 27001. Getting ISO/IEC 27001 standard certificate helps the organization to identify the problems and defeats in its departments and processes, in addition to promoting organization’s competitive position and giving the organization the competitive advantage that it needs. The goal of this study is to evaluate information management systems in Isfahan University of Medical Science using ISO/IEC 27001 standard.Methods: This applied research is a descriptive study. Research community is all departments of information technology at Isfahan University of Medical Science, computer centers of faculties and hospitals, in 2011. In this research we used ISO/IEC 27001: 2005 international checklist as a tool for collecting the information. The checklist includes 11 primary parts and each part includes several additional parts and questions. The information was gathered through interviewing, observation and documents of researchers and was analyzed by Excel 2010.Results: the assessment results indicates that in standard main parts including security policy, organization of information security, asset management, human resources security, physical and environmental security, communications and operations management, access control, information system acquisitions, development and maintenance, information security incident management, business continuity management and compliance, the organizations implemented 31, 40, 28, 65, 73, 54, 54, 44, 58, 38 and 54 percent of the requirements.Conclusion: considering the importance of developing information security management in organizations that deliver information technology services and also the importance of international standard ISO/IEC 27001 in establishing the organization’s processes based on information security and confidentiality protection, integrity and accessibility, the organization should put more effort into implementing this standard in its processes. The results indicate that except for the human resources security and physical and environmental security areas, the organization didn’t develop information security management requirements properly in its internal processes.

The aim of this study is the assessment of training needs based on DACUM method and educational standard of ISO 10015. The study population includes all engineers of Petrochemical Industries Design and Engineering Company project; among them 103 engineers were purposefully selected and studied. The research tools were two questionnaires. The first questionnaire based on the standard requirements of ISO 10015 and the second questionnaire based on DACUM method and opinion of project expert engineers. After verifying the validity and reliability of the questionnaires, they are conducted to collect data of the qualifications and competencies of project engineers in three dimensions of knowledge, attitude and skills. The goal of the study is functional and its methodology is combined including both qualitative and quantitative aspects. The results showed that there is a significant difference between the present situation and the desirable situation of training needs assessment on the basis of ISO 10015 from the perspective of project engineers. The documenting and determining the required standards for identifying the required competencies for each job has the highest priority. The results also showed that by DACUM method, engineers of design and petrochemical engineering company project have six main tasks and thirty sub-tasks. investigating the training needs of engineers in three dimensions of knowledge, skills and attitude, according to DACUM method also showed that there are significant differences between the present situation and desired situation. The findings showed that in the knowledge dimension, "acquaintance with knowledge management" factor; in the skills dimension, "mastering the principles and techniques of negotiation" factor; and in the attitude dimension, "flexibility power" factor have the highest priority; therefore these factors are considered as the most important educational needs of project engineers.

Abstract The present study was conducted with the aim of comparative evaluation of the usability of Tehran Municipality's comprehensive financial software (Finance) using the usability scale and the effect of four factors (gender, age, professional work experience and occupation).This research is included in the group of descriptive, cross-sectional and survey researches. The necessary information was collected through questionnaires distributed among users working in Tehran Municipality in 2023. Questionnaire questions were classified into seven groups, each group representing each of the applicability criteria in the ISO 9241-10 standard. The data were analyzed by independent t-tests, analysis of variance and Pearson's correlation coefficient. The findings showed that four factors (gender, age, professional work experience and job) have a significant effect on users' understanding of the applicability of Tehran Municipality's comprehensive financial software according to the seven principles of ISO 9241-10 standard. In general, users' evaluations about the compliance of Tehran Municipality's comprehensive financial software with ISO 9241-10 standard are different. Therefore, more attention is needed in the field of software upgrade, especially the development of reporting capabilities and levels of accounts, management and training of the software for the needs of urban management and users.

Background: Nurses are the largest group of medical caregivers in the world. Having highly capable nurses in a healthcare system is directly associated with more favorable outcomes for patients. The rapid development of new medical procedures and equipment necessitates constantly developing new skills and competencies. Thus one of the effective means towards their efficient training is to identify and assess their educational needs. The purpose of this investigation is to study educational needs of nurses by ISO 10015 method. Methods: A descriptive survey research was designed surveying all of the nursing staff of Razi Hospital of Torbat Heydarieh. At the first stage of the study, necessary competencies and skills were identified using two methods of Delphi and job analysis, and then educational needs assessment was done according to ISO 10015 steps. The tools used were researcher designed questionnaires and their reliability and validity were tested by achieving a Cronbach's alpha of 83. 9%, and by content validity method, respectively. Data analysis was done using version 16 of SPSS software. Results: Three hundred and sixty-one skills were identified and were categorized into three categories of general (48 skills), specialized (303 skills), and management (10 skills). Nurses had acceptable competencies in 312 of the identified skills, while there were educational and structural gaps found in 8 general, 36 specialized and 5 management skills, as well as the solutions to overcome the gaps were proposed by a group of experts. At the end, 7 general, 33 specialized and 5 management skills were identified and recorded as knowledge gaps. Conclusion: In this study we found out that the specialized skills are the most important educational needs (ABG interpretation, ventilator settings, and cardiac arrhythmias for nurses; and staff and patients’ needs assessment for head nurses) followed by general nursing skills (hemovigilance), and management skills (quality management). The identified knowledge gaps were considered in planning for the future trainings of the study population.

AIMS: Due to the importance of hospital information systems to improve the quality of health care services, their evaluation has a special place in various aspects. For measuring the quality and efficiency of information systems, an important method involves evaluating them with a usability approach. The aim of this study was usability testing of the hospital information system of a police medical center based on ISO 9241-11. MATERIALS & METHODS: This descriptive cross-sectional study was conducted in one of the selected medical centers of the police force among the users of the hospital information system in 2021 (110 participants). Data were collected through a questionnaire with 35 questions based on IsoMetrics tool. The questionnaire questions were classified into 7 groups and each of them indicated the usability criterion in the ISO 9241-11 standard. The validity of the questionnaire was assessed by medical informatics specialists and its reliability was assessed by the repeatability test (0. 7). The results of the survey were statistically analyzed using SPSS 26 software. FINDINGS: 23 samples were excluded from the study due to incomplete questionnaires (N=87). The user mean work experience was 10. 62±, 6. 14 years, with a minimum of less than one year and a maximum of 22 years. Nurses had the highest satisfaction (3. 44±, 0. 36) and pharmacy users had the lowest satisfaction (2. 41±, 0. 11) in the information system. In this study, selfdescriptiveness of the information system had the highest mean (3. 44±, 0. 63) and controllability had the lowest mean (3. 13±, 0. 55). In this study, information system self-description had the highest mean score and controllability had the lowest score CONCLUSION: Although the status of the hospital information system was satisfactory, more attention to usability criteria such as controllability and suitability for individualization can improve the quality and efficiency of the current system.

This study aimed to evaluate Philosophy Thesaurus of Research Center for Islamic Documents and Information Management according to ISO 25964 Standard (Part I & II) and also to examine the interoperability with other vocabulary control systems (ASFA Thesaurus and Persian Subject Headings). This research method was an applied survey in terms of purpose, and a survey-descriptive study in terms of data collection. The research population included the terms of Philosophy Thesaurus, which were selected 375 terms by using Morgan's table and random sampling method. The research population in the interoperability section was also the first six levels of the Philosophy Thesaurus with 85 terms. The tool and method of data collection was, respectively, a researcher-made checklist according to ISO 25964 standards and direct observation. The results showed that the compliance rate of ISO 25964 standard (part I) in the Philosophy Thesaurus is %75. 52. The highest and lowest levels of compliance was related to the "software management" component (%79. 34) and the "semantic relations" component (%66. 66), respectively. The results of the interoperability of Philosophy Thesaurus with ASFA Thesaurus according to ISO 25964 standard (Part II) showed a %24. 88 mapping, the highest of which was exact equivalence mapping (%49. 41). Also, %42. 47 of the terms has the possibility of automatic mapping. Interoperability with Persian Subject Headings was %89. 41, the highest rate is related to exact equivalence mapping (%47. 06). Also, %30 of the selected terms of the Philosophy Thesaurus can be automatically mapped with the terms of Persian Subject Headings. The interoperability in the thesaurus is an economical and efficient solution to save the high costs of producing and compiling and expanding the thesaurus. Also, paying attention to the rules of interoperability in accordance with the standards is the basis for data integration, and the user can achieve an efficient search with improvement precision and recall, regardless of the time, place, and type of database.
